How to Adjust the Image level

To Adjust the Image level

Step 1

  • Choose the Xtras tab from the Menu Bar and select Adjust Color. After that click Level.

Step 2

  • After that you will see the Levels dialog box, which contains three main sections that you can modify.

  1. Selects if you want to apply changes to individual color channels (red, blue, or green) or to all color channels (RGB).

  2. The slider on the right adjusts the highlights using values from 255 to 0; the slider in the center adjusts the midtowns using values from 10 to 0.19; the slider on the far left adjusts the shadows using values from 0 to 255.

  3. Drag the right slider to adjust the highlights using values from 255 to 0 and drag the left slider to adjust the shadows from 0 to 255.

Step 3

  • This is the result of adjusting the Level.
